Must a good energy drink always be expensive? Certainly it has to be possible to combine high-quality ingredients with a good price. Two colleagues from Stuttgart were so fascinated by this idea that they teamed up to solve this riddle. Soon evident: It was possible! After they founded Matador GmbH (limited partnership) in 2005, they presented their first results in 2007: MASK® Energy! Due to a lean corporate structure it is possible to offer a newcomer in the low cost segment of the energy-drink-market despite high quality ingredients.
Quality is the top priority. Following this principle, Matador uses only selected quality ingredients, among them important vitamins and minerals including vitamins B6 and B12. In order to make a product affordable for a large target group, savings must come from another place. The team at Matador has determined this to be within the distribution channel and staff structure. These processes are optimized in a way that the costs can be kept quite low and passed onto the consumer. Furthermore, Matador will consciously invest in ostentatious advertising and sponsorship campaigns, a philosophy that truly benefits the final customer.
